Premium Brands Industrial Design Internship
In the winter of 2008 I had the pleasure to take on an industrial design internship at Native Design Ltd. in the heart of London.
I was entrusted with ideation, sketching, research, 3D modelling & rendering and preparing client presentations for some of the agencies most prolific clients including Bowers Wilkins, LG Electronics, TomTom & Hewlett-Packard.
All the sketches below are hand-drawn by myself.

Product cycle refreshes and updates
As a passionate audiophile, I was thrilled to be entrusted with developing design variants for existing products in the Bowers & Wilkins portfolio – even for products as seemingly simple as a subwoofer. The process revealed a fascinating microcosm of detail, where every refinement, adjustment, and subtle optimization contributed meaningfully to both form and function.

Designing for the next few years ahead
In 2008, the iPhone (having only been released the year before) was still a newly launched device, and many mobile phone manufacturers turned to Native Design in search of differentiation through function, aesthetics, and innovation. During my time there, I had the opportunity to explore forward-thinking concepts, such as exposed antennas, foldable displays, and docking accessories – well before these features reached the consumer market.
