A Poster Series for the 95th Academy Awards
In 2023 I joined a group of artists that make it an annual tradition
to design posters for all the best picture Oscar nominees in a given year.
My series “Time to Reflect” is showing close-ups of the iconic Oscar statue reflecting motives from all 10 nominated movies that year.
Each motive is meticulously lit and photographed in-camera.

Each motive is meticulously lit and photographed in-camera with very little editing done to it in post.

Aside from each motive being lit with an individual lighting setup to best reflect each motives unique characteristics, the visuals from each film were projected onto the statue using an iPad (not pictured here) held at just the right angle to achieve the perfect reflection.
